I do not support John McCain. Speaking strictly politically, I despise almost everything the Senator stands for save for his support for the war on Terror, his support for our troops and his pro life positions. There really is little else for a grass roots conservative as I am to like about John McCain. On Tuesday I will be voting for Mitt Romney.
Nevertheless, at this point McCain seems likely to become the GOP’s nominee. He has momentum if not money. He has free press coverage, if very little grass roots conservative support. His positions repulse a huge segment of registered Republicans. How is it that John McCain, the man who sold out our rights of free speech, tried to give amnesty and citizenship to illegal aliens and led the “Gang of 14” looks like the favorite to win our Republican nomination?
Two reasons
Contrary to what most of us believe, there are very few … Continue Reading:McCain’s voters: do you regularly vote in Republican primaries?

Saturday’s primary showed us who the real Archie and Edith Bunkers are; rank and file white Democrats.
From 1971 to 1979 the most watched television show was All in the family. The show featured a bigoted WASP named Archie Bunker who lived with his family at 704 Hauser Street in Queens. Archie basically hated everything that wasn’t just to his liking in the America of his day. He was the quintessential “angry white man” and of course he was a Reagan Democrat waiting to happen. Although the portrait of Archie as a terrible person was supposed to revolt viewers, the truth was that many people saw themselves in him and were actually happy with what they saw.
While Archie’s registration is never divulged, simple deduction would make a very strong case that he was a Democrat. Consider these features of his make up: White male, living in New York City at a time when 70% … Continue Reading:Archie and Edith Bunker, 704 Hauser Street registration: Democrat
By Coach Collins, on January 22nd, 2008% by John F. Allen Well let’s see, the Democrats will end up with either the most hated presidential candidate in American history. That is not merely a Freeper’s opinion but the indication to be gleaned from a series of polls asking “Would you vote for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances?” which revealed that between 45 and 52% say “No”. Now of course we have not heard this question asked recently and we are not likely to hear it asked anytime soon. Why? Because if Zogby of Rasmussen or Gallup or Pew asked the question they would have to reveal the answer. None of these firms wants to kill the “excitement” of a presidential race even if it doesn’t actually exist. No one, not even a Clinton can give up 45% BEFORE day one and win. Now the other likely Democratic nominee is a man who will, because of the truth that in politics perception is reality, be … Continue Reading:Why I doubt McCain will be our nominee
By Coach Collins, on January 17th, 2008% By John F. Allen As conservatives our choice for president has to be Fred Thompson. But this is only half of the equation. Both McCain and Huckabee are both very suspect on the issue of illegal aliens. Here are some very sobering facts about the damage we have already suffered from our de facto open borders policy.
Nearly One Million Sex Crimes have been committed by illegal immigrants in the United States. http://www.drdsk.com/
Illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
3 million dollars a day are spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
90 billion dollars a year are spent on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers. 200 billion dollars a year in suppressed … Continue Reading:Why neither John McCain nor Mike Huckabee can possibly be our choice
By Coach Collins, on January 14th, 2008% By John F. Allen One of the facts of political life is that whomever we pick as our next president will be something less than the ideal we hold for our national leaders. This is not to say that we should not push our field of Republican candidates as hard as we can to get the best man we can. This is to soberly consider that we must make decisions or decisions will be made for us. I’ve never been a “none of the above” fan. That’s no better than staying home.
As many of you, I have sat back waiting for Ronald Reagan to figuratively reappear. I’m a New Yorker who lost two friends in the 9-11 sneak attack. Because of that I started out as a Rudy supporter. I wanted him to be the man I could back. I have met him one to one a few times and liked what I saw. I also … Continue Reading:Why Fred Thompson is the only Choice
