Yosemite National Park has installed the largest solar energy system in the whole United States National Park System. The system will provide 672 kilowatts which is 12% of the park’s yearly electric power requirements. The system installed by Suntek (doesn’t that name make you just want to hug a tree?) consists of 2,800 solar panels “tastefully” integrated into the existing architecture of Yosmite’s administrative and maintenance compound.
A 500 kilowatt solar canopy covers the parking lot, a 100 kW rooftop section serves as a collection system on top of the warehouse and an additional 72 kWs wrap the building’s outer walls. Nevertheless, before you jump up and shout “Holy renewable energy!” consider the dark side of this “money and energy saving green policy.”
New meaning to the term “Lifetime guarantee”
The system cost $4.5 million and over the next five years the Park will receive $700,000 in energy rebates … Continue Reading:Yosemite National Park spending 3.8 million tax dollars to save $50,000; might break even in 2088

On the evening of April 17, 2009 the real meaning of what Barack Obama’s call for shared sacrifices was forced on the families of Leigh Anna Jimmerson and of Tad Mattle, a 19 year old from Huntsville Alabama any family would be proud to claim. Tad was more than a typical teenager. Leigh Anna was Tad girlfriend – family and friends said they were a great couple – he had an old car he worked on – but Tad was also an Eagle Scout who had planned to attend the University of Alabama on a full academic scholarship. If ever there was a young man with his whole life before him, it was Tad Mattle.
All of that changed forever at about 9 PM that spring night as Tad and Leigh Anna, a high school sophomore, were stopped at a light in Huntsville their hometown. Suddenly, they were dead. They were killed, … Continue Reading:Tad Mattle and Leigh Anna Jimmerson: putting a human face on welcoming illegal aliens

Barack Hussein Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign understood the value of an aggressive internet presence and the Regime’s web exploitation tactics have not changed since the election.
On March 23rd, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit against the Health and Human Services Department. The more than 2300 pages of documents the public interest organization received include internal HHS correspondence and “…communications with representatives of the Ogilvy Group, the public relations firm hired by the Obama Administration to manage the ObamaCare campaign.”
Months of review show internet search engines such as Google and Yahoo were paid millions of taxpayer dollars to secretly direct web-based inquiries about health care to a Regime friendly site designed to sell the American public on the benefits of Obama’s unconstitutional takeover of the health care system.
“Using ‘Pay-per-Click’ advertising tools such as Google Adwords, HHS purposely targeted for influence people searching the term ‘ObamaCare’ …” … Continue Reading:Google Shills for ObamaCare
