Panic leads to mistakes.
Barack Obama’s announcement of support for Gay “marriage” was not the result of a “heartfelt” search for “what is right for America.” It was the result of full blown panic and a search for what is best for Barack Obama that will be devastating in November. The huge 61/39 landslide loss Gay “marriage” took in North Carolina apparently set off a panic in Obama’s camp that “demanded” action.
This brought about Obama’s tense “declaration” of support for Gay “marriage” something that directly contradicts what he said about the issue in 2008.
More than this, it has made raising enthusiasm to vote among African Americans harder by a wide margin. For Obama the low energy level among his natural base was troublesome until 3 PM Wednesday. A recently releast Investor’s Business Daily report provides some telling data derived from comparing economic conditions in the so-called Blue States (those who voted for Obama) with those in the Red States that voted for John McCain.Income growth in Blue States trails per capita income growth in Red States by about .07%. Job growth which has been slow nationwide has Blue States lagging by .08%. Home prices in Red States actually climbed slightly by .03% butBlueStatehome prices dropped about 3.8%. The latest unemployment rate for Blue Staters at approximately 8.5%, a was full 1.1% higher than it is in Red States. The results and turnout in tomorrow’s Primary Day voting in North Carolina will be an important indication of Barack Obama’s chances for holding the Tar Heel State in his column next November.
Aside from the usual array of primary candidates from both Parties voters will be able to cast a ballot for or against Amendment One which will protect traditional marriage by banning same sex “marriage.”
Already plagued by a Gay sexual harassment scandal hanging over the head of the outgoing Democrat State Chairman, the decision of its Democrat governor not to run for reelection and the specter of a grossly underfunded Democrat National Convention held in an anti union Right To Work state it doesn’t seem that things could get worse for North Carolina’s Democrats. But, a resounding victory for the pro marriage Republicans could because it could take North Carolina off the board for Obama’s reelection campaign.

Of course there is no full-fledged media retreat from Barack Obama, but the number of gratuitous swipes it has taken at their president is certainly curious. All of these reports from various media outlets have been posted in just the last few weeks. None of them will be helpful to Obama’s re-election and all of them are the kind of reports heretofore found only in “new media” sources if at all.
An editorial by the New York Times’ Arthur Brisbane called on “The Paper of Record” to determine “who is the real Obama?” Brisbane said that the Times hasn’t done much to help develop a true picture of the real Barack Obama as it should now that he is standing for re-election.

When he was asked about his “fears” of being seen as the new Jimmy Carter if the kill bin Laden operation failed the way Carter’s Operation Eagle Claw had, Barack Obama didn’t hesitate in his answer.
“I thought about it,” he “admitted” as he acknowledged there would be “political ramifications” that could ruin his chances of reelection if the bin Laden mission had been a disaster. Nevertheless, the Prince of Frauds stressed, “There were doubts voiced in the Situation Room. But there was no doubt in my head.”
According to the “official narrative” Barack Obama was the one who fought off the fears of a political disaster voiced by other “less courageous” Democrats and “did the right thing” without regard for politics. What a man! What a leader! What a liar!
