Our prize is finding America’s soul again

By Emma K. Emmett, staff writer

Political payoffs, public bribery, whipping up racial and class hatred, planning and actually encouraging civil unrest, rewarding sloth, irresponsibility and lawlessness while punishing producers and the law-abiding, demonizing political enemies as terrorists while aiding and abetting real terrorists and bowing down to foreign powers.

Have I left anything out?  Plenty. Forcing radical and unpopular policies into law by executive order as a means to circumvent elected lawmakers and the Constitution, publicly announcing which laws will and will not be enforced; feigning dedication to a country which has entrusted him with enormous power while taking real and measurable actions to weaken the economy and the defenses of that country.

This and more has been hiding in plain view. Does it chill your spine to think about what has been happenin’ in these United States behind the scenes?

Meanwhile, the opposition bickers about fantasy tax plans which have nothing to do with … Continue Reading:Our prize is finding America’s soul again

Projection: It Isn’t Just For Movies Anymore

By Emma K. Emmett, staff writer

Projection (noun pro•jec•tion  [pruh-jek-shuh n] ) is a psychological defense mechanism whereby a person ascribes or accuses individuals or groups of motives, emotions or behavior which have originated in their own subconscious.

This allows the sufferer to deny any responsibility and to feel victimized by others. Taken to extreme, projection is a main component of paranoia. Paradoxically, it is the paranoid person who poses danger, because he is able to justify outrageous actions while feeling that he is at the mercy of others.

On the current political landscape, the list of examples of liberal projection bias is mighty long and getting longer. Some however, are so striking that they deserve special mention.  If you’d like a glimpse into the future of what Liberals will do next, simply pay attention to the next thing of which they accuse Conservatives.

Remember when Hillary shrieked at the top of her … Continue Reading:Projection: It Isn’t Just For Movies Anymore

Cleaning Up After Obama

  By Emma K. Emmett

You’ve got to hand it to Barack Obama. Not only is he taxing Americans into oblivion, he’s taxing our credulity as well. He has once again added to his prolific list of gaffes which thanks to World Net Daily  National Review and Talk radio has    gotten at least some limited exposure (but not surprisingly hardly a word in the mainstream media)  –he has confused Jews with Janitors.

Or did he confuse Jews with billionaires?  It doesn’t take a Freud to recognize this slip. Those pesky Jews are weighing heavily on the mind of our Dear Leader.

Maybe Jews have been on his mind since he was forced last week to feign support for Israel at the UN. Only four months ago in another Freudian departure from his TelePrompTer, he advocated Israel’s return to indefensible 1967 borders which would lead to the end of the Jewish State.

Talk about hell freezing over!  As further … Continue Reading:Cleaning Up After Obama

Got Rage?

By Emma K. Emmett, staff writer

When I was assigned to write  about tomorrow’s  ”Day of Rage,” organized by the likes of ACORN Founder Wade Rathke  and   SEIU’s Stephen Lerner   I resisted it mightily.  I heard a grumble in my lower intestine and a silent yell, “Nooooooooo, don’t make me, puhleeeeeze!”

I knew the cognitive dissonance and just plain idiocy of a group that regularly claims to be more “tolerant” and “compassionate” than the rest of us and then incites hatred and chaos in order to declare themselves entitled to what other people earn, would put me dangerously close to head-exploding territory.

Then, I settled down enough to read and hear what they’re saying and planning to do tomorrow, just a week after the tenth anniversary of 9-11 and only blocks from Ground Zero.

They want to “occupy” Wall Street, they say, and hope to persuade 20,000 people to set … Continue Reading:Got Rage?
