Last November, researchers for the Senate Armed Forces Services Committee, reported our military had purchased and installed counterfeit electronic components into Warplanes and other weapons systems. During their research the committee claimed that it found more than a million fake parts in a random sample with approximately 70% of the electronic parts originating from China.
The components would find their way into the Defense Supply Chain through approved commercial distributors who purchase the parts directly from China. The Chinese would purposely pack counterfeit parts with in genuine military grade components and sell the batch to the Defense Logistics Agency at bargain prices with little or no quality assurance checks.
Military grade parts are manufactured to withstand extreme conditions. The counterfeit components are often factory rejects or commercial grade parts which have been relabeled. The most effective method to ensure the quality of parts being purchased is aggressive testing of the parts … Continue Reading:“Made in China” counterfeit war plane parts put our troops in danger- why?

Last Monday, President Obama was overheard whispering to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about plans to pursue another round of reductions of our stockpiles of nuclear weapons and the halt of a European missile defense shield. At the end of the meeting the two leaders’ conversation were caught on a hot mike. It seems that our “teleprompter President” hasn’t learned very much about the equipment used to spread his propaganda.
Obama: (Referring to Vladimir Putin) “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him to give me space.”
Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you …”
Obama: “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”
Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”
The president’s explanation of the conversation was about “technical aspects” of future nuclear disarmament talks. Since he … Continue Reading:Careless whispers reveal Obama’s true intentions to destroy America

The Syrian uprising has brought back the cold war with the Middle East as the current battle ground. The sides consists of a Pro-Syrian President cartel consisting of Russia, China, North Korea and Iran verses the Pro-Rebel backers consisting of United States, European Union,, Saudi Arabia and the Arab League. Neither side is openly involved in the rebellion, of course, but they are both busy supplying the combatants.
Syria and Russia
Syria has been a loyal Russian ally since the 1973 Yom Kippur War when she used ( or should that be misused?) Soviet manufactured weapons against the American backed Israelis. In an effort to discourage Western Nations from imposing a Libyan type no-fly zone/air strikes plan over Syria, the Russians have been building up Syria’s air defense and anti-shipping capability. Improvements to Syria’s long range radar system will allow the rouge nation to alert Iran to any impending air … Continue Reading:The new Cold War

For the first time in history U.S. Marines were ordered to surrender their arms while attending a dog and pony show speech by a visiting Secretary of Defense. (2) Before addressing 200 troops gathered at Camp Leatherneck. As Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s plane was landing a suicide driver attempted to ram it, but crashed into a ditch before it could get onto the runway. Mr. Panetta and his entourage were not hurt.
Overreaction
In a case of overreaction the base commander, Major General Charles Gurganus, ordered the camp Sargent Major to have the attending Marines secure their arms outside and return to the tent. In a war zone in an area where a probable terrorist act had just occurred this is not a wise move, but alas very politically correct.
Political Correctness
As reported in the New York Times “General Gurganus told reporters later that he had wanted a … Continue Reading:Hello Troops, I don’t trust you…

Iran and Israel have been in the news quite a bit lately, most of the talk lately has been speculation about an Israeli strike of Iranian nuclear facilities and when that might happen. Israel is not taking Iran’s nuclear threat lightly because she understands she will most likely be the first target. The prevailing view of the bureaucrats is that Iran doesn’t have a nuclear weapon yet but may be very close. Recent analyses of satellite photos show the Iranians are hiding evidence of nuclear trigger testing.
Sanctions
In an attempt to get the Islamic Republic to halt its undisclosed nuclear weapons program, the United States and the European Union have imposed sanctions and froze the Iranian central bank’s assets. This has hurt the general population but has done very little to discourage the regime from its nuclear ambitions. Western governments are hoping the sanctions will create civil unrest similar to the … Continue Reading:Israel and Iran: Obama wants a diplomatic solution before November and Israel be dammed
