It now appears that Ms. Lerner was being given ineffective assistance of counsel. Any law student learns about the Fifth Amendment and the potential for automatic waiver thereof. It's Hornbook law.

Her defensive introduction in her appearance voided the later use of the Fifth Amendment in that transaction. Once the testified, she could no longer rely on the Fifth Amendment.

She has been suspended and ought to be fired.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/05/15/us-usa-puertorico-status-idUSBRE94E11320130515

"The push for statehood follows a two-question status plebiscite held in Puerto Rico in November, in which 54 percent of voters said they were against continuing the commonwealth's territory status. A second question had voters choose among alternatives to the current status, with 61 percent voting for statehood, 33 percent voting for Puerto Rico becoming a nation in a free association with the United States and 5.5 percent voting for outright independence."

If they can't get "amnesty" passed to include instantaneous voting rights for all Mexicans in the US illegally, this will be what they do, no doubt. They simply MUST have an increase in the number of low information voters ready to keep them in power so as to drive the continued destruction of the country. As if the GOP is not helping with this enough already.

How fitting that your piece ends by invoking the notion of "tolerance." As can now be seen by all, tolerance is little more than an atheistic (and one-sided) perversion of the Golden Rule. Invariably, it quickly deteriorates into one side accusing the other of intolerance, at the same time maintaining that they will not tolerate intolerance.

The premise is only true if the American people believe that we must denounce government corruption and immoral behavior, no matter which political party maintains the White House. I have seen no evidence this is true; in fact, quite the contrary. The fact that the American people have allowed such far reaching examples of voter fraud to pass unchallenged is a far worse example of our demise as a once-great nation. And I think it is also true Democrats are willing to abide any obscenity at all, so long as they are able to maintain their Marxist hold over our country, and to hell with the United States of America.

I will also add that the admission of an on-going AP investigation and spying on a Fox News reporter has but one purpose: to divert the attention of the press and a few citizens who are paying attention away from Benghazi and the IRS scandal.

To GNM. Sadly, the ceotus (chief exec of the US) will likely skate and make millions (more) giving lectures and being given so many honorary doctorate degrees that it would gag a cat like a giant furball. Shameful would be a gross understatement..
