The Drudge Report carries a picture of Mitt Romney jet skiing with his wife – “Oh no that’s it Barack Obama will cruise to reelection because all is lost!” A few people who we’ve heard of have declared Romney’s campaign virtually dead because THEY don’t like his response to the two worst decisions from the Supreme Court.
These comments are, of course well meaning, but they remind us of the wide gap between grass roots activist TEA party conservative voters and conservative “leaders” who now want to run in front of the parade to appear to be relevant. There is a huge surge of enthusiasm to get rid of Barack Obama that is happening in the streets and on conservative internet “meeting places” that will flush Barack Obama away in November. How can these “experts” not know this?
In my small but reliable poll 66% my overwhelmingly conservative readers said they were voting AGAINST Barack Obama and just 24% said they were voting FOR Mitt Romney! The large national polls won’t ask this question but that doesn’t alter the truth.
Our “expert” conservative leaders don’t yet understand that not only will conservative voters crawl through broken glass to vote against Obama, BUT more to the point, legions of Americans, especially White voters, who just desperately want Obama gone will see “ROMNEY” as the name on the toilet bowl handle that must be pulled down to flush away Barack Obama – America’s foulest mistake.
Over the past two years Obama’s nationally televised speeches have drawn fewer and fewer listeners. This is because Americans don’t care what he has to say, they want him gone.
Regardless of what he has done, Obama has not gotten ANY lasting “poll bounce” because Americans don’t care what he does, they want him gone.
To win in November, all What’s His name has to do is tread water and avoid mistakes – REAL mistakes not riding on a jet ski with his wife.

The real story is how many folks like me will not vote for the obama-lite whiter shade of fail. I see no difference between health care mandating, assult weapon banning northeast liberal Romney and Obummer. They are idealogically identical. Good luck getting that blow up plastic republicrat in drag elected.

I suggest you go over to Uncle Crazy’s site or D.U. and stay there. You My Friend are part of the problem. My real regret regarding you is that when we beat Obama with What’s His Name you too will benefit and have your future stored as well – it doesn’t seem fair but that’s the way it goes I guess.

Coach, Romney talks good, he sounds good, his words make him out to be a great conservative but his actions are those of a far left liberal. Actions do tend to speak louder than words so which do we go with, words or actions? Personally I would like to throw Romney under the bus and put the noose of nomination around someone else's neck.
Conservatism isn't advanced by voting for liberal Republicans. Liberal Republicans advance liberalism. We don't need a rerun of the Bush Presidency (or something likely worse).

Do you think it is EASY to defy those whose only wish is that Obama be made GONE in November ?…do you think it is FUN for us to suffer the ignorant insults from pragmatists and Romney loyalists ???? Get a grip, man !
Those "experts", as you put it, have seen these endless arrays of "Hobson's Choices" far too often and they are sick of it, (as well as "business as usual", whether under an Obama rule or a Romney reign)… additionally, these "experts" have offered valid options which both the RINO-controlled House… and the Democratic Senate won't even LOOK-AT !
Where is even the mildest interest in bringing aboard…with real, etched-in-stone conservative, constitutional, free-market , no more taxes, commitments to the TEA Party types who restored their majority "pube-rule" in the House….and the SAME ones who will "Make or break them" in 2012?
This isn't ONLY about hating Obama…it is ALL about making sure that we're NOT being "Shined-on", or given another "snow-job" by someone who quite frankly doesn't sound like a Republican at all….and who surely lacks the ability to convince us that he has a very STRONG, uncompromising belief system and definite plans to right the Obama-wrongs done to America and Americans.
RINO's believe they can COUNT on Romney votes from people like me, simply because we DO HATE Obama….Well, Guess What !!??
We value our principles far more than we hate Obama…so until and unless the fat bastards ruling the RNC begin to make some very serious compromises, concessions, and recognition to the contributions made by many millions of Americans calling themselves TEA Party Patriots, you will NOT see people like me climbing on board the Romney-Ride.
Rather than DEMANDING that we pragmatically and unquestionably sell ourselves out to the equally lousy RINO-puppetmasters; we ask for inclusiveness and cooperation with a goodly number of OUR ideas….instead of offering us another "Take-it-or Leave it " scenario.
Otherwise we're staying home on election day…..Just bloody TRY to get that poor excuse for a Republican elected without us !!
If you would say "That's extortion", you would be absolutely correct…just giving BACK to the "ruling elites" that which they have dished out to us for generations….lies, extortion, robbery and more.
If you weren't all SO eager to comply with the Mantra of "NO More Obama"…we could actually exert some honest, decent, down-home, kind of common sense plans and pressure against the RINOs
Romney's more-than-tepid responses to recent rulings is a direct reflection upon his inability to show that he HAS a pair…not only THAT, but who wants to follow someone who portrays himself as SO middle-of-the-road that it is nearly impossible to inspire trust in him
There are still lots of people unaware that the RNC/DNC has carefully picked Romney for the position of designated loser.
The Fabian socialists have a plan and agenda reaching out fifty to one hundred , even one hundred and fifty years resulting in the destruction of this nation and formation of their socialist utopia. Revolutionary communists want the same utopia and they want it NOW. They would be happy with lining people up and shooting them to bring about that utopia.
The Fabians will lay back and put up with the rape this nation will suffer at the hands of the revolutionary communists if it means getting their utopia sooner with their hands clean. As a side note; The Fabians apparently never study history because at that point the revolutionaries always murder the Fabians.
Romney, the Fabian, will take one for the team and throw the election to Obama, the revolutionary communist.
Coach…to date, I'd have to say that your take against "conservative purists" in your July 5th article (above), has been met with a unified disapproval.
