Years as an avid, hands on “facilitator” for corrupt Democrat presidents have taught Attorney General Eric Holder that contempt and cynicism are the best weapons against annoying Republicans in search of facts. In yesterday’s eagerly anticipated meeting with Darrell Issa, Holder did exactly what anyone familiar with the arrogant racketeer might expect. He ignored vows he made to the Republican Congressman about bringing the matter of Fast and Furious to “an amicable resolution” by demanding today’s scheduled House contempt of congress vote be cancelled before any of his Department’s subpoenaed Fast and Furious documents would be handed over to the Issa Committee.
“The [Justice] Department is prepared to compromise with the Committee in order to answer the questions set forth,” promised the Attorney General just 5 days earlier. But Holder’s concept of compromise is that of any self-serving, leftist chiseler, that being to swindle the mark.
It took just twenty minutes in a secluded, Capitol Building office for Darrell Issa to realize he was being played for a sucker. In an interview with FOX News immediately after the pointless encounter with the Attorney General, Issa told reporters the Attorney General not only demanded the contempt vote be cancelled but that the Fast and Furious investigation itself be ended. Only under these conditions, said Holder, would he then provide the Issa Committee with a “briefing” as to the innocence of the Department of Justice, followed by a selective release of documents supporting that claim! Audacity, disdain and insolence, truly the hallmarks of the radical left.
Issa must know it was never Holder’s intention to provide the information demanded by the Congressman’s House Committee. It is pointedly clear by now that doing so would have given Republicans all the proof they would need to file criminal charges against not only Holder, but half the Obama political appointees in the Department of Justice.
The fact is, Holder is depending on the politically petrified Speaker of the House to bail him out of 18 months of lies told to congressional committees. It’s no secret that John Boehner is concerned further Fast and Furious involvement will put Republicans on a course which will not only be vehemently criticized by the national media, but which might, according to the Speaker, eventually be “an election year distraction that could hurt Republicans at the polls.” Boehner would like nothing more than to put an end to the Fast and Furious investigation, even though Holder, a shameless criminal for the past 2 decades, would get away with having engineered the shooting deaths of 2 hundred or more people.
It has been the courageous participation of unnamed DOJ officials leaking documents to Congress which finally convinced Boehner and other Republican leaders to lend reluctant support for today’s contempt of congress vote. And the word is, Republicans indeed have the votes to bring a contempt charge against the Attorney General. What a disgrace if the career ending—even prosecutable—leaking of documents by DOJ employees were to be for naught thanks to a House Speaker more concerned with politics than with justice.
Wednesday will be day during which all eyes will be on the House of Representatives.

Exactly right. And that's about the worst of these White House/DOJ thugs, who believe they have some sort of special privilege to do whatever they wish. Advancing the agenda takes precedence over EVERYTHING. If some guy was killed due to the Regime's efforts to undermine the 2nd Amendment, TOUGH!!! The most corrupt administration in this nation's history and it MUST be throw out in November.

"Fast and furious was merely the treason run out of the Phoenix Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Other similar programs around the country include Operation Castaway, run out of the Tampa Field Division of that same Bureau, and transporting guns to former president Zelaya's supporters in Honduras. These operatives were aided by the FBI who bought weapons from the straw buyers, using stimulus funds, before packing them into trucks to transport across the border. Immigration and Customs Enforcement aided this transport by NOT inspecting the vehicles as they crossed the border. And these transfers were in direct violation of International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which belong to the Department of State. This is treason of the highest order."
Assuming that what 'Matism' said is true, and can be verified….then I've got two questions…Under what lying guise were 'stimulus funds' utilized ( and how much was spent on this or other felonious act[s] )….and was our highly un-American State Department a party to these arms transfers?

Any time a significant number of bureaucratic institutions are involved in advancing a particular agenda item, you can BET there are higher-ups coordinating their efforts. No low level schmuck at the ATF is going to be able to dictate policy to the FBI or DHS. Somebody with authority across the board HAD to be involved and that someone was in the DOJ, having received his orders from the White House.
Oldpuppy….have to agree with your assessment……For an 'underling' to instigate such policy decisions would be the 'kiss of death' to his/her career…..(after the Courts Martial or Article 15!!), rather like having a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force committing his Colonels and Generals to policies generated from the lower ranks. It just doesn't happen…no matter HOW intelligent the SMS is…

Anyone who is the least conversant with the 'Chain-of-Command' in the military or other para military orgs. (DOJ qualifies as para military), knows that "Trickle Down" is the way orders are given.
What I find so bothersome about the likelihood of dealing to Holder the punishment he deserves, outside the contempt of congress citation, is that in order for Holder to be indicted on any charges, the U.S. Attorney for D.C. (a Mr. Machen, by name), would be responsible for convening the Grand Jury to decide the merits…..Machen, unfortunately reports directly to Holder….not only that…but he is also an Obama supporter, 'bundler' and appointee.
It would once again appear that the judicial process, because of its' association under DOJ, is much like the fox guarding the hen-house.
One would HAVE to question the individual objectivity of Machen if he is to be responsible for looking into the many 'security leaks' coming out of DOJ and the Oval Office.

Obama invoked executive privilege in order to delay the Fast and Furious debacle past election day. By that time, I doubt any of it will matter as Republicans will DEFINITELY not continue the investigation or even think about pressing charges against the black former AG or president! In short, Hussein was willing to take the political hit rather than reveal his criminal participation in the deaths of hundreds!
I believe there is too much pressure on Boehner and Cantor to fold now and take some ludicrous deal offered by Holder. The contempt vote will almost HAVE to take place after which the House will do virtually NOTHING thru the election. When Hussein loses, there will be a great big bonfire in the DOJ and any number of computers will wind up mysteriously broken beyond repair. Boehner's response–let bygones be bygones!
And as for the Terry family–well that's only 2 votes, after all!!! No big deal.
