Building on the results of the election, Democrats are taking a harder line on the so-called “Fiscal Cliff.” They are making it clear that they consider the GOP’s control of the House to be a mere speed bump on the road to America’s destruction; which appears to be their ultimate goal.
Because they are economically illiterates at best and foaming at the mouth America haters at worst, Congressional Democrats want to see our military suffer the large and serious cuts that are on the way rather than cut their vote buying schemes.
Pete DeFazio of Oregon is a leading voice in the Democrats’ bloodlust over how we should handle the Fiscal Cliff. He recently remarked “If the Republicans can’t see their way to significant additional revenues targeted toward the people who are best off and targeted toward passive income and other things like that, then we’re better off going over the cliff and readdressing this with a better Congress in January,.. And we would have plenty of time to fix it.”
Washington State’s Democrat Senator Patty Murray aka “The mom in tennis shoes” seems somewhat giddy over the prospect of diminishing America to achieve Democrat Party goals. She wants the country to crash Cloward/ Piven style and be redesigned as a Democrat run one Party nation where socialism prevails.
The public is primed and ready to blame Republicans for the coming disaster to such a lopsided degree that it might actually be a good thing. As we have seen in the defiance from Republican governors over state run healthcare cooperatives, there just might be enough Republicans who realize that no matter what they do or say they will be attacked. With this mindset doing what is right rather than what the Democrats want (which will only lead to the usual round of attacks anyway) might become an attractive choice.
Standing with these Republicans – showing them they are not alone – can go a long way toward starting America back up again. Let your Republican Representative know your support a strong stance of fiscal responsibility.
