When did the Presidents wife, known for nothing other than servicing the President, (except Mrs. Clinton), become anything other than a White House tour guide, a la Jackie Kennedy?
When is the Congress going to cut off all project funds these unelected concubines seek to steal from the American taxpayer? If the position of First Lady is anything requiring the spending of one dime, they should have to run for it separately and it should not just automatically be the Presidents wife.
If these women are going to spend millions of taxpayer dollars, shouldn’t they be vetted? Or is sleeping with an elected official all it takes?
Hillary Clinton, Americas most famous political prostitute, had absolutely no experience in anything but having sex with Bill Clinton, (at least once as evidenced by the existence of Chelsea although, without a DNA test, I doubt it) and destroying either all the women who actually seemed to enjoy having sex with Bill Clinton, or those he assaulted or raped like Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broderick. Is that the only experience needed to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars without oversight?
When will Elliot Spitzer’s, (better known as Client Number 9), girlfriend run for office? With her resume she is a shoe-in!
What has Michelle Obama done in her life besides being forced to give up her law license and sleeping with Obama, (when Larry Sinclair wasn’t available)? Did anyone vote for this woman who is now trying to tell all Americans how to raise their children? Why should anyone listen to her and why has no one had the stones to stand up and tell her to STFU about anyone else’s family but her own!
When are we going to do something about this most corrupt usurpation of Presidential power by America haters and sperm receptacles?
There should be no “Office of the First Lady.” If that is to continue to be an official position, then any woman should have the right to run for that office, it should not be relegated to inexperienced housewives with no oversight over their outrageous intrusions into Americans lives.
When will someone stand up and tell these miserable power hungry scabs that their only job in life is to warm their husbands bed. If they want to run an office, let them run for that office. Or, let their ELECTED husband pay, personally, for their mindless excursions into irrelevance and all the trappings, travel and office personnel their hobbies entail.
Congress should immediately pass legislation that strips all official duties other than the traditional protocol duties from the unelected wife of any President, now and in the future.
Or, they should define the position of First Lady and make it an elected position.
I’d vote for Ann Coulter.

Ron : Harsh in tone but very accurate ! The distaff pretenders are oftentimes more irksome than their presidential spouses and we should NOT be forced to pay for the follies, causes, political grandstanding and multi-country shopping trips, excursions, and social-safaris that many of these women seem to crave.
There is no excuse for sending a wife as an ambassador when we already pay State Department flunkies for screwing up America's foreign policy.

I knew going in I was up against the line, or crossing over, of propriety. I apologize to those offended, but how else can the situation be addressed without calling it what it is? How else does one describe the situation we find ourselves in? When these candidates are running, does the press go after the wives like they do the candidate? Why not? If they are going to be suddenly elevated to a higher than cabinet level "office," where their actions will affect millions of Americans, we need to vet them totally. If they can't pass the scrutiny their husbands are facing, than neither should be elected. Being President does not convey the authority to put ones spouse in a powerful position of authority with no oversite.
Hillary Clinton would never have been elected to anything, including a feminist cause! What feminist ties themselves to a man, does nothing but run interference for that man, living his life completely, and than claims to be a feminist?
There is no word but one for these women, and I'm sorry to have to say it, but anyone getting positions and money for experience at nothing but sleeping with someone is a prostitute.

Ron : You forgot the "very accurate" portion of my post to you. !! Sure you were harsh, but there was very good reason NOT to pull punches on this article. Michelle Obama has brought to light the inherent problems of how and who we "vet" for the office of the President. (If, in fact there has been any actual vetting being accomplished at all !!).
Michelle isn't the only first lady with behavior and attitude problems. As much as I liked Ronald Reagan, I wrote to his wife, Nancy asking that she PUHLEEZE dispense with the national Mommy-ism of the Government's failed program against marijuana with her "Just Say No Campaign" that was directed to children who had already been smoking "Jane" since they were 10 or 11 years of age.

But I started with Hillary because the Clintons really gave her power over people with the atempt to force Healcare down our throats. Why won't anyone criticized the continued uselessness ?
Because front and center, the uselessness and corruption is by an elected black couple.
We will all be called "racists" if we demand accountability.
The perfect example is brethen Eric Holder, and the trial that continues for nine months.
When his resignation is demanded the Liberal press will acuse the the Klan of backing the decison and someone might even invent a cross burning on the White House lawn…and blah, blah. blah And Gee whiz, we're all racist.
