When members of the Afghanistan National Army or the Afghan police open fire on American or NATO troops the event is called “Green on Blue” Incident. Blue on Green is the war on terror’s polite term for Friendly Fire, but let’s be honest our soldiers are being murdered by the people we liberated. The number of Green on Blue incidents has been on the rise with at least 80 coalition troops having been killed by “friendly” Afghans since 2009. Twenty six NATO Soldiers have been killed including 13 Americans in 19 attacks so far in 2012.
Latest Incidents
Last week treacherous Afghans killed three British soldiers at a safe checkpoint in the Helmand province, The gunman was later wounded and captured by British forces. (5) According to reliable reports it is unlikely that the gunman was affiliated with the Taliban. Five Americans have been wounded after being fired upon by a member of the Afghan Army. The soldiers were medevac’d and the shooter escaped into the eastern Wardak province and is still hiding. Afghan forces are not immune to such attacks from within their own ranks in what is called Green on Green attacks.
Taliban
The Taliban often claim responsibility for the Green on Blue attacks, but most of these incidents seem to be carried out by undisciplined disgruntled soldiers turning his frustration against the people who are tasked to train them to kill the enemy. The Taliban are claiming credit for these attacks to intimidate tribal leaders in the rural regions. All they have to do is wait till the Americans leave, declare victory and punish the Afghans left behind who dared to oppose the Jihad.
Vietnamization
Obama’s policy regarding Afghanistan is similar to the plans put forth by Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon in regard to our withdrawal from Viet Nam. The current policy is to build up the Afghan security forces to allow the withdrawal of American and NATO troops. The short slightness of this strategy ignores the tribal nature of the Afghans. They will not allow themselves to become a national force. They have no history of being one nation. The Afghan National Army was the crown jewel of Obama’s Administration’s “Afghanistization” policy but the Army isn’t ready for prime time. They are more proficient at killing Americans and NATO partners then they are killing Taliban.

Crap
Ask a few Chaldean Iraqis who lived in Iraq if they know the story of a Chaldean Christian, Sunni and Shia Iraqi soldiers sent to conduct operations against the Iranian’s (Shia) during the Iran Iraq war..
The story has it that mission went well resulting in the deaths of many Iraqi Shia Soldiers.. (If the story is not told by Chaldean Iraqi’s for illustrative purposes but actually occurred in some form it is likely the three were Forward Observers.) The Shia is so incensed that a Christian has been partly responsible for killing so many of his Shia Brothers (Though Iranian enemy soldiers) he kills the Christian Iraqi Soldier as they are returning to their unit..
Saddam reportedly hears of the incident and has the Murderer brought before him.. He assures the Shia he will not harm him and that he only wants the truth…which the Shia Soldier provides.. After that Saddam is supposed to have said.. He understood and the Soldier should not worry that he (Saddam) will send him alive to be with his Shia brothers in Iran. At this point the Chaldean Christians telling tale begin to grin.. You see according to them the Shia Iraqi Soldier is send back to his unit.. Where under orders from Saddam he is tied/taped to a surface to surface missile and launched quite alive into Iran to be with his Iranian Shia Brothers.
Keep in mind the above story with the same theme is told in a different part of the Islamic world than Afghanistan but carries the same theme…and is told to make a different point in fact.. That Saddam indeed was no enemy to the Chaldean/Assyrian Christians living in Iraq.. You remember some of the 200,000 Iraqi Christians who since our “liberation” of Iraq have fled to the protection and relative safety of the next “Dictator” Assyad of Syria (Sunni)… Who we seek to overthrow as well..

“Nidal Hasan is a hero, the fact that fighting against the U.S. army is an Islamic duty today cannot be disputed.
Anwar al-Awlaki
They rightfully are claiming credit for attacks against Non Muslims performed by Afghan Muslims who experienced a revival and renewal of their faith which then aligns them with the Taliban’s ideology and philosophy.
What’s the point?…..
That it is part of the Islamic faith to kill us, part of their sacred duty as good Moslems. To rape, rob and murder Non-Muslims is no crime under Sharia..In fact to rape the wife or daughter of a Non Muslim is to punish the Non-Muslim Brothers, Husbands and Fathers for being “Infidels”.
The Afghan Soldiers who kill American and British Soldiers are not “Disgruntled” they are merely rediscovering, renewing and keeping their faith with Islam.
Nidal Malik Hasan was not “Radicalized” he also simply enjoyed a revival/renewal of his faith and acted in accordance with it’s teachings.

For those who so vigorously cling to the illusion that Islam in some form is compatible with the West it is time to face the the truth that it is not..
