FLOTUS Michelle Obama and Laura Bush served as keynote speakers yesterday honoring the Flight 93 Shanksville, Pennsylvania 9-11 memorial that resembles the Islamic Red Crescent design. Its design insults the memory of 9-11 hijack victim Tom Burnett, Jr. says his father.
The bereaved man, who asked that his son’s name be removed from the site, is deeply offended especially now upon learning four glass blocks remembering the Jihadi hijackers are being added to the aisle of the 40 innocent American victims who took down the plane to prevent it from flying on to Washington.
Tom Burnett, Sr. said, “Mr. Murdoch’s plan just isn’t acceptable. Millions of Americans and I find the ‘red crescent of embrace’ (design) an insult to my son and the others on Flight 93 who engaged in a violent and valiant struggle to take that plane back from the Islamic hijackers.”
Architect Paul Murdoch says, “We want to heal the land,” in a comical yet cruel poem posted on the website of the U.S. National Park Service which now is calling his design a Circle of Embrace in a blatant attempt at equivocation from its initial name of Crescent of Embrace.
Burnett gave author Alec Rawls a copy of his Letter to the Editor detailing his objections to what many now are calling a second 9-11 mosque. The Red Crescent design “is unmistakably an Islamic symbol that has been used by Muslims for centuries.“ The father told Rawls the media have ignored his letter so he turned to the internet editor to get his message out to mainstream Americans.
Rawls shows an overhead visual of the Shanksville memorial design with the Islamic flags of Muslim countries to pinpoint just how trenchant is the criticism of the Flight 93 site plan.
Mr. Burnett served on the artistic design jury whose decision he says was not unanimous and was troubling because of the secrecy and tweaking involved. A jury report says, “THE CRESCENT should be referred to as a circle or arc or other words that are not tied to specific religious iconography.” The saddened father adds, “I just don’t like it. . .it was not an open process.”
Adding further controversy is a second structure at the site called a Tower of Voices, a 93 foot tall structure many say resembles an Islamic topped minaret.
Christian crosses long have been under assault at the Mojave dessert park district memorial, yet our liberal media are being successful in hiding the outrage of this second 9-11 mosque tribute. Tom Tancredo is calling for stoppage of its construction. The company that "won" the contest was Paul Murdoch. A public records search in the California Secretary of State's Office, turned up their corporate filings. They were absorbed by a company called Davis Langdon. They have several Facebook accounts, and I invite you to have a look at their logo: a large crescent with a star – but it's been altered to look like the same star we have on the postage stamp. Davis Langdon was just acquired by Seah International, who also has a Facebook page – where they discuss that they expect to win yet another contest, at Vail Colorado – to install a wildlife bridge in the National Parks.
I have about 20 years of corporate law behind me, this is called "swapping" – where you hold an illicit "contest" and give out an award – to a business – in exchange for whatever business project you have around the globe.
The National Park's Charities in conjunction with Ken Salazar, and one of the charities' directors, David Rockefeller Jr., have been holding contests and doling out land in the National Parks in exchange for whatever the Rockefellers have going around the globe.
They offered some deal to the Imam too, or he would be long gone. And that accounts for the veiled threat we all heard. The Rockefellers have been selling us out, again. Just like they did in 1912 when Federal marshals were going to arrest the old man Rockefeller for bank fraud. Wilson stepped in and dropped the charges.
When exactly did we turn the National Parks over to the Rockefellers so they can hold "contests" and swap out our parks for their investments? Please print the news so everybody knows where that stupid crescent came from.
Hi SL. I am not familiar with how to check these public records. Can you possibly send me the relevant links and what documentary evidence you were able to compile about Paul Murdoch architects being bought by Davis Langdon? Maybe I can send out a "Stop the Crescent Mosque" blogburst about Langdon and Murdoch both employing crescent and star configurations.
I had seen before that Langdon was associated with Murdoch and that he uses his own kind of crescent and star. Thanks for pointing out his facebook page, where I see he is involved with at least one large Iraqi project. If Langdon actually bought Murdoch's firm, that is even more interesting.

The Red Crescent of Embrace at Shanksville ,Pa. is an insult and a slap in the face of all Americans killed on that site by radical Islamic terrorists. . Who is Architect Paul Murdoch, and moreover who in the Government gave the okay to build a monument that is clearly Islamic? Christian symbols, are not allowed anywhere in the USA, which was founded on Judeo-Christian ideals, yet the Shanksville site, has the Crescent sign of Islam, with plans to have a 93 tall tower resembling a minaret. This is so very wrong ,and I stand with the the man, Tom Burnett, who wants his sons name removed from Islamic design. This design is not acceptable as a memorial, to all who lost loved ones on that fateful day.
Islamic money has bought our politicians.. Ironically Islamic money begins here in the USA…
Our politicians have handed our nation over to the mortal enemy of the vast majority of Ameircans who are Christians and Jews. They think they can keep us ignorant about the islamization of America, but we are a curious people who are learning on our own.

The major problem here is that the families of the dead heroes should have been empaneled as the judges for choosing an appropriate design for the memorial. Nobody else should have had anything to say about it. And that's that!
This is more evidence of these anti America commie bas-ards in the white house. This has to stop on Nov. 2. Please get out the vote because the demo's will have so many dead people voting the fraud will be unbelievable. They have ACORN and union stooges ready to vote in the names of people who have moved and the dead who are still on the rolls. The county registrar of voters do not have the manpower, funds or time to check the names. Please work for November 2. Thank you.
Abolutely correct. There were 13 States now filing charges of voter fraud in the last election! And that's just the ones who have caught it so far! Heck, for all we know, Obama might not have won the election after all! Once you eliminate the fraudulent votes, it might actually be a different story. We have to get out and vote the bums out, every last one of us! If we do that, ACORN will not be able to keep up enough to steal the election. With good leaders in Washington, we can end this nightmare–and ACORN!
Many of our National Parks are already owned by the UN. There is a granite monument at the entrance to Glacier NP in Montana saying it is UN owned. It is dated 1976, so this is nothing new. I would blame Jimmy Carter, but he did not take office until January of '77. This is nothing new. Americans just do not pay attention. Everybody knows who won on American Idol and the various football games, but we have no idea who is THE BIGGEST LOSER! We all are.
