New York City embarrasses itself and America: no toilets at new Ground Zero Memorial

  Why is there no outcry over the insult to 9/11 families, would be visitors, or to us average U.S. citizens over the NO TOILETS oversight at the soon to be opened Ground Zero Memorial?  

    Only the Australian media are telling us what really is going on. “City Hall officials conceded that bathrooms were left out of the plans for the memorial,” reveal staff writers for the News Queensland, on 28 May, 20ll.

   N.Y. Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s spokesman Andrew Brent told the Aussie Press, “Visitors will be provided with information to help plan their visit, including being advised that BATHROOMS WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE on the site!”  

 This is simply unbelievable! A final snafu like this in the face of all of their other failures surrounding this hallowed ground is the final straw in the movable haystack of the incompetence of New York City’s liberal Democrats.  The ongoing closed door meeting angst will never be revealed to us, but rest assured you will not be able to relieve yourselves no matter how long you have to wait to get inside.

  By the way, these morons ran up a $1/2 BILLION tab for the WTC Memorial site.  And these ignoramuses refuse to provide any porta-potties in the interim, even though they are “expecting millions of visitors from across the globe to flock to lower Manhattan” this September for the tenth anniversary ceremonies.   Not having one single public toilet, also, will prevent U.S. school children from having their field trips to this hallowed ground.

    “What kind of idiocy is this?” blogged one man.  But no toilets at Ground Zero are just one of the politicians’ long list of affronts. 

 We now know the glass, developed by an American company for the first 20 floors, was MADE IN CHINA!  “It is absolutely astounding to us that they would take a project of this level of development work we all invested in . . and bid it offshore,” says Vicky Holt, senior Vice President of Pittsburg Plate Glass.

  The Harrisburg, PATRIOT NEWS expressed outrage, saying BEIJING glass was ‘honored’ even though three American glass manufacturers “spent months working with tower architects’ to provide unique terrorist proof glass!”

    From years of political fighting, to liberal politicians led by Michael Bloomberg approving of a 9/11 mosque next door, we are seeing the abject failure of the liberal Democrats’ ability to “honor” us American citizens.
