Eric Holder’s two decades of concealing murder

by Doug Book, staff writer

Information provided congressional committees by ATF whistleblowers and leaks within the Department of Justice prove Eric Holder to be either criminally complicit in the Fast and Furious scheme and cover-up, or the most incompetent, congenitally comatose Attorney General in the nation’s history. Though Holder is many things, he is not incompetent, at least not in the willful “execution-upon-command” of illegal and despicable enterprises; especially when those enterprises involve Administration generated murder.

“You need to know that Eric Holder…played a key role in covering up the torture-murder death of my brother, Kenneth Michael Trentadue.” (1)

This is what Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue wrote in December of 2008 to prospective incoming chairman of the Senate Justice Committee, Patrick Leahy. The newly elected Barack Obama had made Holder his choice for Attorney General and Trentadue was going to do everything in his power to stop this shameful appointment going forward.

Fast and Furious investigation could end today, Holder go scot free

by Doug Book, staff writer

Attorney General Eric Holder will meet with Fast and Furious nemesis Congressman Darrell Issa at 5:00 this afternoon in what could mark the end of the Congressional investigation of Barack Obama’s deadly gun smuggling scheme.

Last week, House Republican leaders at last agreed to schedule a vote on the Contempt of Congress charge Issa has long sought to bring against the Attorney General for 8 months of refusing to honor Congressional subpoenas. Deputy Attorney General James Cole quickly responded with a letter to House Government Reform Committee chair Issa, requesting a meeting to discuss ways of avoiding the vote. Issa agreed to meet with the Attorney General, but only if the Justice Department were willing to “…submit a serious proposal for how it intends to alter its refusal to produce critical documents subpoenaed by the Committee…”

One day later, on June 14th, Holder answered with a two page letter … Continue Reading:Fast and Furious investigation could end today, Holder go scot free

Speaker Boehner protects Eric Holder from Contempt of Congress citation…again

by Doug Book, staff writer

Three months ago conservatives were jubilant over reports Congressman Darrell Issa would offer a Contempt of Congress complaint against Eric Holder. After all, the Attorney General had openly refused to honor House Oversight Committee subpoenas for an estimated 80,000 documents vital to the Committee’s investigation of the role played by members of the Obama Regime in Operation Fast and Furious.

Holder spent nearly a year lying to Congressional committees and making clear he had no intention of honoring legal subpoenas. His Assistant Attorney General Ron Weich had written a February 4th, 2011 letter to congress claiming the criminal walking of more than 2000 firearms across the Mexican border had never happened. It was that letter which would have the distinction of being the first ever Department of Justice communication to congress which had to be withdrawn by its sender, due to certain “inaccuracies.” (1)

Yet deadlines set by Issa and … Continue Reading:Speaker Boehner protects Eric Holder from Contempt of Congress citation…again

Rep. Issa afraid to enforce law against black AG Holder

by Doug Book, staff writer

During the past week a number of Operation Fast and Furious watchers have been celebrating the notion that Congressman Darrell Issa’s February 14th letter to Eric Holder represents a last chance, comply or else, final offer to the gangster Attorney General. (1)

Unfortunately, buying into such wishful thinking will result in nothing but disappointment as the Congressman has shown little in his dealings with the Attorney General over the past 6 months but a litany of empty threats and predictable retreats when they are ignored.

During his December 8th testimony before Issa’s House Government Reform Committee, Holder stated emphatically that his Department of Justice would NOT provide congress any Fast and Furious information dated later than February 4th of 2011. In support of that assertion he has prevented DOJ officials providing testimony to the House and ignored repeated requests for relevant letters and emails. (2)

Perhaps such astounding arrogance should have … Continue Reading:Rep. Issa afraid to enforce law against black AG Holder

We’re watching you, Speaker Boehner and all of your friends too

by Doug Book, staff writer

On February 7th, Coach is Right posted a story reporting John Boehner was involved in an under-the-table negotiation with Attorney General Eric Holder to arrange a “mutually acceptable conclusion” to the Congressional investigation of Operation Fast and Furious. (1)

Originally broken by Mike Vanderboegh on his Sipsey Street Irregulars website, it was reported that the Department of Justice would provide Boehner and Republicans the heads of DOJ higher-ups Lanny Breuer and Jason Weinstein along with assorted minor players and in return, the GOP would drop House and Senate committee investigations, giving Eric Holder and Barack Obama a pass on their involvement in the gunwalking scheme. (2)

Since this story first broke on February 3rd, dozens, perhaps hundreds of sites across the internet have picked up the articles originally published on Sipsey Street, Coach is Right and Western Journalism. CiR and WJ have been inundated with comments, many taking offense at the … Continue Reading:We’re watching you, Speaker Boehner and all of your friends too
