China is gradually beginning to resemble Japan of the 1930s and the thought of having to stop them with Barack Obama as our Commander in Chief is not reassuring.

The Peoples Republic of China (PRC) has made the headlines recently by aggressively deploying missiles capable of striking American forces in the Western Pacific. China’s goal is to deny us access to aid Taiwan when the People’s Army decides to invade the island.

China’s Modernization

During the last 30 years China has greatly accelerated her economic and military growth. The Communist country’s economic advancement has greatly improved the living standard of its citizens and China’s international profile. This economic growth is fueling China’s drive to modernize her military from a defensive force to a regional powerhouse and eventually a global military power.
