Israel and Iran: Obama wants a diplomatic solution before November and Israel be dammed

By Jim Emerson, staff writer

Iran and Israel have been in the news quite a bit lately, most of the talk lately has been speculation about an Israeli strike of Iranian nuclear facilities and when that might happen. Israel is not taking Iran’s nuclear threat lightly because she understands she will most likely be the first target. The prevailing view of the bureaucrats is that Iran doesn’t have a nuclear weapon yet but may be very close. Recent analyses of satellite photos show the Iranians are hiding evidence of nuclear trigger testing.

Sanctions

In an attempt to get the Islamic Republic to halt its undisclosed nuclear weapons program, the United States and the European Union have imposed sanctions and froze the Iranian central bank’s assets. This has hurt the general population but has done very little to discourage the regime from its nuclear ambitions. Western governments are hoping the sanctions will create civil unrest similar to the … Continue Reading:Israel and Iran: Obama wants a diplomatic solution before November and Israel be dammed

Got Nukes?

In another effort to divert attention from the President’s abysmal record heading into this election year the White House threw out another hand grenade to distract any scrutiny. The Obama Administration announced that it’s considering drastic reductions to America’s nuclear arsenal. According to several news outlets, the Administration is planning to cut the total number of nuclear warheads by 80%.

The current START pact calls for the United States to reduce their inventory to 1,550 deployable warheads by 2018. Now the administration plans to ask the Russians to reduce the inventory to 300 to 400 warheads leaving the two largest nuclear powers to have the same amount of warheads as China. In faculty lounge out of touch with reality logic, this White House believes that the Russians will agree to reduce their inventory and may convince Iran and North Korea to abandon their nuclear programs. Shortly after his “immaculation” to the … Continue Reading:Got Nukes?

Iran preparing for war

Last May, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the Revolutionary Guards to rapidly increase the development and deployment of its nuclear weapons program. Recently the Washington Times has reported that the Supreme Leader ordered the Guards to be prepared for war against Israel and the United States. The Iranian regimes’ National Security Council has determined that there is a strong possibility that Israel and the United States will attack the Islamic Republic in 2012. Yet the Council isn’t worried, believing that the Republic will be victorious and viewed as the champion of Islam. (1)

Nuclear Agenda

The Islamic Republic planned to acquire a cache of nuclear weapons and use them in order to gain respect and spread Islam around the world. Indeed, Iran would have no compunction about using the bomb to “Bring the West to its knees.” (1) Washington Times’ reporter Reza Kahlili points out; “They also have concluded … Continue Reading:Iran preparing for war

When Israel attacks Iran’s nukes, Obama will be the last to know

By Doug Book, staff writer

Would Israel launch a surprise attack against Iranian nuclear facilities without first having informed the White House of its intentions? That’s a question to which Barack Obama would dearly love an answer, but don’t expect Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to provide one any time soon.

Upon receipt of an October report by UN weapons inspectors that Iran was in the process of building a nuclear weapon, Barack Obama dispatched Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to Israel to demand “…an unshakable guarantee that Israel would not carry out a unilateral military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities without first seeking Washington’s clearance.”

But neither Israeli PM Netanyahu nor Defense Minister Ehud Barak would provide Obama with such a guarantee, instead telling Panetta only that no attack was planned.

The nation of Israel has survived the geographic nightmare of being surrounded by hostile Muslim neighbors through good intelligence, dogged preparedness and … Continue Reading:When Israel attacks Iran’s nukes, Obama will be the last to know
