Fears of Chicago NATO riots are so heightened that a big condo association has warned its residents to flee their homes for their own safety from Sunday May 19 through May 21. So much for peaceful protesting by world wide objectors upset about nearly everything. “We are STRONGLY recommending that all residents find alternative places to stay,” says a Property Manager’s letter (1) sent to all residents last Thursday. “In the event of a riot or the potential of one near the building, all access doors will be locked,” Michele Maeder is telling her condo dwellers in the Library Tower high rise located at 520 South State Street.
All hospitality and entertainment rooms will be locked along with their revolving door beginning early on Friday of the NATO weekend. Emergency egress only will be allowed through a side alley.
