The Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army’s Drill Sergeant School (DSS) has been suspended from duty and the Army is working overtime to smother the story.
An investigative report by militarycorruption.com (MCC) has uncovered the story Army brass would love to keep secret. According to MCC which specializing in exposing stories about our military the mainstream media and official channels won’t talk about, the Command Sergeant Major of the Army’s Drill Sergeant’s School (DSS) Teresa King has been charged with a variety of violations of Army regulations.
Sergeant Major Teresa King is an African American who will by 50 years old this year. She is has been divorced, has no children and has been in the Army for 31 years. Upon taking command of the DSS on September 22, 2009 King became the first female ever to hold that position.
On paper Sergeant Major King sounds like an ideal soldier and well qualified to be in such an important slot in the Army’s training structure. Nevertheless, once the “paper” is turned over questions about why she was selected abound.
Reports from MCC’s on the ground correspondents say King’s suspension from duty was prompted by her heavy drinking, sexual relationship with a lower ranking enlisted soldier and perhaps worst of all the fact that at least one of the college degree she listed on her resume is from a schools deemed to be diploma mill.
Almeda College where King lists as the school from which she was granted a Master’s degree in business management, has been closed by legal action in both Florida and Idaho because it was declared a fake institution.
Another embarrassing element of King’s persona – which she has built around a “sergeant no slack” façade is the fact that in spite of her tough talk she has never been in a combat zone which makes gaining the respect of her battle hardened veteran students difficult at best.
Given the facts of this case, it appears the Army looked before it leaped. It saw an opportunity for a politically correct affirmative action “twofer” in this appointment. Top commanders were blinded by a chance to point to an African American woman’s promotion and pat themselves on the back.
There is subtle danger in this kind of recklessness. When our military ceases to be a meritocracy we are in trouble. Whoever vetted Sergeant Major King did a poor job and should be fired.

Sergeant Major is an enlisted rank. It is the highest enlisted rank in the Army.but it is not a command or commissioned rank.

Technically you are right the term should be Command’s Sergeant Major, but the everyday way military folks talk it becomes Command Sergeant Major.

This kind of garbage infuriates me. I got out of the military 30 years ago because I saw certain getting promoted by quota, not by proficiency. It's only gotten worse, hasn't it?? If you're black or a woman, you get big breaks. This c|_|nt should be court-martialed, but instead, she'll be quietly retired, get to keep her pension and not have to worry about much. A fitting punishment would be to reduce her to E-4 and ship her to Iraq…. and NOT in the Green Zone!
Everyone is in an uproar about this article…. Today ……. the facts were misrepresened; CSGM didnt do NONE of what was said here… She has also filed a case in court to have her records corrected. Where is the apology….. There will be none…but people like you will continue to tell this bogus story about her….. How we forget…when several officers and other CSGM’s have been proven to have done this and much more… and you (fellas) dont say a darned thing…. And by the way…they get to move to a corner and then get to retire…. what a life!!

The truth with regards to the failures of women serving and the special privileges accorded them so they can serve may never be revealed.
That failure lies at the feet of our current Senior Military leadership.. who not only have demonstrated their incompetence to lead and win but their moral cowardice to tell the truth regarding the failure of women to perform anywhere close to a reasonable standard..
Do not blame the enlisted women however.. They have performed admirably in the field best suited to them ever since they were in uniform.
Blame the Senior Leadership and a self centered and egotistical female Officer Corps who have been pursing their "Dreams of Glory" and Promotion on the backs of the Enlisted Females who have been forced to carry unwarranted and unnecessary burdens.Suffering life long debilitating injuries in many cases for it. Not due to the enemy.. but due to anatomy in the lack of maturity on the part of those responsible for facing the real issues involved with females in service.

I served with honor 30 plus yrs… Command Sgt Major….went to the hot zone twice….deployed over 12 times…. why because my troops were deployed…. not all females much less females of color fail! I have three Master Degrees…. from accredited colleges…I”m hard BUT fair…. And I not only adher to the standards… I exceed them….
