Using the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has been giving our money away since 1975. For 35 years the EITC has been used to hand out $44 billion a year surpassing spending for even Food Stamp and Welfare programs.
Since they find a way to worm into any benefit program our government has, it is not surprising that illegal aliens are looting the EITC.
What is surprising is the manner and ease in which they are going about their larceny.
Recently a financial analyst addressing the National Press Club said, “Technically, only people authorized to work in the U.S. are eligible for the credit, you need a valid Social security number… but identity theft, stolen Social Security numbers, and other scams effectively nullify the restriction. As a result, illegal aliens actually receive the EITC at even greater rates than legal immigrants.”
Using fraudulent social security numbers, illegal aliens from Mexico are actually able to secure payments from us for children who, if they actually exist, are still living in Mexico. Of course illegal alien couples can and are filing separately thereby receiving double payments by claiming the same children twice.
The analyst went on to point out that the IRS is disturbingly indifferent to the phony social security numbers used by illegal aliens – some of whom may be terrorists planning to kill Americans.
Social agencies helping the IRS undermine immigration policy
Last April a spokesman for a private social agency in Florida explained how his organization was helping illegal aliens file their “federal income tax returns.”
That he and his coworkers are aiding in the commission of federal crimes ranging from grand larceny to mail fraud, seems to be lost on him. The agency is helping illegals fraudulently and deliberately use Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN) to file returns that include claims for EITCs.
In just the last ten years the number of ITINs requested by those not eligible for social security numbers (read illegal aliens) has roughly tripled to 1.837 million.
In 2009 more than 2 million returns using ITINs were submitted to the IRS for processing.
Should an amnesty program like the DREAM Act pass, this abuse will get exponentially worse. That $44billion a year is much better in our pocket than illegal aliens’.

The dream act is just that . The dream of the liberal left to boost it base and possibly have a controlling voter block for the next 50 years.
Does the name Nike Diaz ring a bell? She used a fraudulent social security card for years and now is under the umbrella of Janet Napalitano when this woman should have been deported already.
Not only do the illegals get EITC but the thousands of dollars that they recieve in additional child tax credit for legal, illegal & Mexican resident children. The thousands of $$ are for each taxpayer. And yes, there is a unit of the IRS in Austin, Texas that assign ITIN # (similar to Social Security Number but start with 9) to illegal aliens here and those that reside in Mexico. Most of the residents of Mexico that are assigned ITIN #s are children under 16 for the main purpose of the $1,000 each credit.
IRS tells their employees that a person would not use a SS# two years in a row if it was not theirs. So all an Illegal Alien has to do is steal your SS# and use it 2 years in a row and IRS decides that the SS# must belong to them.
We need to march on Washington and demand they get out. America for Americans. That includes Obama.
Round 'em all up and put 'em on the midnight train to Mexico.
My friend, worked as a Social worker for the State of Connecticut. He would check on the residents who had applied for services {welfare}. He said the woman always claimed to be living with her children alone- no husband. The Department head wanted to make spot checks after five o'clock, but was told that was an invasion of privacy. Many of the investigators, stated that there was evidence that a man was living in the house and was probably at work. The trick is being played on the US taxpayer , and is ignored by our elected officials for the vote that perpetuates their jobs. ! I'm damn sick of paying for someone else to sit back while we pay their bills . PS My friend said he often saw the same children being claimed by another needy mother. He was so disgusted ,that he went to work for a private firm.
