The failure of the US media to properly vet the candidacy of Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign can be cited as one of our country’s most harmful periods. Yet, we see the same pernicious cycle being perpetrated against Herman Cain just four years later. They refuse to follow up on substantial allegations against Obama like those made against him by Larry Sinclair. but run with vapid lies from gold digging phonies.
To understand the media’s use of its enormous power against Republican, and especially conservative, candidates, we need to remind ourselves of how Clarence Thomas was cruelly treated during his Supreme Court hearings in the early ’90s. Running under the current of a Black man who steps away from his deemed allegiance to the Democrat Party, liberals sought to punish Thomas by using the sub-rosa theme of a black man’s sexuality to bring him down.
Ted Kennedy’s savage attacks on Robert Bork could not be repeated on Thomas, so using the old canard of he- said-she-said, the mainstream media reached way out to Oral Roberts University’s teaching staff and brought Anita Hill into the spot light. One blogger says, “The mind reels imagining the acrimony and snide remarks that would be made had a victim of Bill Clinton been employed at Oral Roberts University.”
I was visiting a doctor and his wife in Japan right after the hearings, and he told me how much the Japanese viewing audiences laughed at the spectacle of such hearings for the highest court in America. Thomas himself ended his hearings with a stirring rebuke when he said, “This is a circus. This is a national disgrace. It is a high tech lynching.” The liberal media really had to stretch themselves to pull a teacher from the religious right’s academia in their attempt to get rid of Thomas. But he wrote the playbook that exposes what the far Left reporters, pundits, and editors now are trying to do to Herman Cain.
The media has in effect ignored their defeat to Thomas. But they are trying to use Thomas’s stirring condemnation of them as a pack of jackals as a blueprint for attacking Herman Cain. “Uppity Blacks who deign to think for yourselves and refuse to kowtow to an old order will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured.” Thomas said, effectively ending the media’s search and destroy mission on him.
Clarence Thomas won his battle but it seems to have made no impression of the insidious media that keep trying to revive a Cain “scandal” that is not there.
Now we have the far Left’s wordsmiths attempting the same search, lynch, and destroy piece of work on Herman Cain. They would never do this to Barack Obama.
Do you recall the media demanding Obama’s explanation of why Larry Sinclair might have been lying when he alleged that he an Obama got drunk together and had homosexual sex? Of course not! Yet Sinclair was very up front and willing to answer any questions.
Some stats I’ve read show our media are about 90% Democrat, and of the remaining 10% calling themselves Republican, but only 5% are actual conservative journalists. Last week Cain said, “There are too many people in the media who are downright dishonest.” So true.

The media was well aware that Barack Obama was/is a Jew hating, America hating bi-sexual muslim.
The main stream media is filled with & controlled by such people…
What have we allowed the main stream media to turn our Country into? They have become the voice of the Progressive Socialists and whether they are aware or not they have done much harm to America with their slanted "journalism". Too many are downright dishonest in what they put forth. The public's gullibility is just as much a dangerous problem.

I'm not going to pull any punches here. The MSM is filled with communists, socialists vermin who've over the many, many, years have infiltrated the MSM and are now covertly and now overtly making up news, instead of reporting the news.
Their agenda is the same as Obama's. Bring America down. They've been at this game for a long time. Now, that they feel victory is so near for them, especially, with their man in office, they've pretty much come out of the closet and say the most vulgar, divisive, and vile things. America has been infiltrated by communists in pretty much all areas of our society, the media, education, military, govt. They've been at war with America — they just haven't announced it formally. If ever, we as Americans decide we'd like our country back, I think we should re-instate the House Committee on Un-American Activities and route out these enemies of America and put them on trial for sedition and treason. If we don't, they'll keep doing it until America is totally destroyed.
I know I'm going to get attacked here but I'll say it anyway….. I believe there is truth about what these women are saying about Cain…..having said that and keeping with the title…good point about Sinclair…but then there are so many agendas on all sides….. and this one is blatant…. "Coach" isn't always "right"

Gloria Allred was interviewed this morning on "Sunday Morning" where she admitted using the press/media to put pressure on targets of herself and client to make them pay-up…IF these tactics are legal we should change the law…She claims to be an advocate for "womens rights" when all she is as very good at extortion/blackmail…I was wondering up until this morning when I saw this interview WHAT Gloria wanted? When no crime was committed…There was NO sexual harrassment,(Saron Bialek was NOT working for Cain)…IF IF IF He did make a pass, it was not completed (according to Sharon) SOOOOOOO, he didn't even cheat on his wife (which may be frowned upon but is not against the law)…
Food for thought??? Barack Obama is a handsome, charming man and a Harvard Graduate….Where are all the girl-friends from his past??? Why have'nt any of them showed up??? NOT ONE??? He is a self admitted drug user, so it's not like he didn't t do his share of partying…girls like to party too…

I read an article in Patriot Update today that briefly turned my stomach; until a reader made a comment which had me cheering !
The article was about how Moo-chelle Obama, along with Joe Biden's wife, are going to be the Grand Marshals of the Nascar Sprint Cup Championship Race on November 20th. (can you spell n-a-u-s-e-a-t-i-n-g ?).
Initially, I was appalled at such obvious political posturing; then "Paul" made the following comment : "What would be a better idea is for the fans to turn their backs to them as they pass in front of the stands. That will be the biggest show of disrespect ever shown to bho, his wife and the Bidens"
I responded to "Paul's" comment with these thoughts.
"Paul : God knows I'm no fan of Nascar; but I have always believed one thing about Nascar fans; and that is that they are a patriotic group of individuals, many of the TEA Party persuasion.
Can anyone tell me "What the Hell Nascar officials were DOING when they agreed to allow Mama Michelle (et alia), to be Marshals?"
I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity for those patriots to show the Obamas, the Bidens, and the rest of the country what "Real Americans" think of the treasonous "First Couple" and "The Toadie".
Turning our backs literally and figuratively on Mama Michelle should qualify as an act of disrespect which has been a LONG time in the making against a tyrant and his Czarinna.
I cannot help but wonder how many Nascar fans will opt to "sit-out" actual attendance at the event, to watch the races on television BECAUSE of Michelle's presence ?
It occurs to me that Michelle Obama's insertion of herself into such an "American" event as Nascar racing is "beyond the pale", and an outright attempt by she and the President (and the Bidens), to seem "urban-folksy" when their actual elitist personalities couldn't be further from the "photo-op" truth.
