Now that the dust has settled from the conservative hurricane that blew across America Tuesday night we can begin to get into the fine points of how big this win actually was.
Despite being smothered by the Democrat controlled media, one of the best things to come out of our victory is the death blow we dealt to Big Labor’s Employee Free Choice Act, (EFCA) scheme commonly known as Card Check. Under this blatant assault on our liberties, unions would be able to steal the secret ballot from America’s workers. This sneaky plot would have allowed union thugs to enter upon worksites to “observe” the vote for or against unionization made by nonunion workers as they voted.
Now that threat is gone. Had it succeeded, Big Labor would have been able to steal union dues from millions of new “members” and use that money to subvert American democracy. Another very helpful result of the drubbing we gave unions was their waste of more than $200 million on this coup. That money is gone and they can’t use again.
EFCA supporters paid dearly
On Election night Democrats who co-sponsored Big Labor’s scheme dropped like dead flies trapped in a hot window box. The numbers look like this: 33 incumbent Democrat Card Check supporters lost their bids for re-election, there are two more who will likely end up losing and 11 Democrats who supported EFCA retired and watched their old seats go Republican.
Not just killing Card Check
The Republican in line to take over the chairmanship of the House Education and labor Committee, John Kline of Minnesota is the chief sponsor of the “Secret Ballot Protection Act” which would bar employers from allowing Card Check to determine the unionization status of their workers. A second “sacrament” of Big labor, the Davis-Bacon Act which forces contractors to pay employees working on federal public works projects labor union rates (even to nonunion workers) is in danger now.
We really kicked there butts.
We have won a very big victory friends, and we will enjoy the benefits of our votes for years to come.

I wonder what the greedy Unions would do if congress offered them card check throughout the U.S. "if" they would accept that every state would be ruled "Right to Work" states? Bet they would NOT even want this one!
This is a problem with the City of Minneapolis as well. Perhaps one reason these problems continue in Minnesota is because of our politicians like Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken, and Keith Ellison. If Mark Dayton is elected as Minnesota Gov', ya better hold on th your paychecks because the taxes will be coming in a big way. This is the continued stronghold the liberal democrats have on Minnesota. Wake up people we need to vote these people out of office now and forever! The Franken stolen election should have been a wake up call for the corruption that goes on in the State of Minnesota. James Oberstar was one of the biggest offenders in Minnesota and thank GOD the people woke up and voted him out. More work is needed and more liberal democrats must be fired.
I ask this question? Why is it that everytime the unions and their stronghold on Gov jobs are threathened with layoff's or elimination or downsizing, they always begin the scare tactics? You know and you have heard the claims: more murders and robberies, or your house will burn down because we will be short of Firemen. What a joke! You never hear these claims when times are good and they have their huge payoff contracts. Hell I see Firemen used all the time to stand on street corners handing out political propaganda while they are getting paid by we taxpayers. Or they use the city firetrucks in parades and other functions, all paid for by we taxpayers. How about all the funerals when a cop gets killed in the line of duty? Do we really need to send almost every firefighter and cop using Gov vehicles to drive to these events? Think of all the pay and fuel this costs us taxpayers? Something is way wrong folks and it needs to stop… NOW! This is yet another example of the liberal democrats at work with our dollars.
