University of New Mexico students learn the world won’t end if they say no to Gay activist’s demands

So much of what is taught on today’s college campuses is useless “feel good” drivel. It is very often nothing more than pap designed to “build self-esteem.” Nevertheless, occasionally a genuine lesson will bubble up through the worthless sludge. This is what happened recently at the University of New Mexico (UNM). While the lesson was unintended, it was clear and for a change valuable. Students learned that they do not have to automatically yield to minority opinion and if they tell demanding Gay activists to get lost the world will not come to an end. Here’s how it unfolded.

A group of “frightened” Gay activists on the campus of the University of New Mexico recently got a big surprise when they demanded that Chick-Fil-A be forced to leave, because its mere presence frightened them. Undeterred that a majority of fellow students favored keeping the chicken sandwich shop right where it is, the Gay agitators demanded and got a vote on the matter from the student Senate.

During the debate the hand wringing was classic. Sen. Miquela Ortiz of the Associated Students of UNM said, “Students started expressing to me they felt unsafe to go into their own campus union building. When they said they felt uncomfortable on campus, I felt it was an issue that I should bring up.” Another said, “Please look at this from a moral standpoint. Look at the kids that are here that are telling you, ‘I do not feel safe on this campus anymore.'”

As it turns out the students living on the UNM’s campuses do have many reasons to be fearful, but deep fried chicken sold by a Christian company isn’t one of them. In the last three reporting years these real crimes have been reported by UNM residents: 10 forcible sex crimes; 15 robberies; 145 burglaries; 20 aggravated assaults; 137 auto larcenies and 15 arsons.

The Gay bleating drew responses such as, “Nobody is in imminent danger on this campus because of chicken,” and, “I have friends that work for Chick-fil-A, and they’re taught to treat every customer with the respect that they deserve.”

The vote was 8 to 3 in favor of the chicken restaurant and at least for one day students went back to their dorms having actually learned something: Don’t be afraid of bullies; Gay or otherwise.

  1. Too bad gays haven’t figured out their urges are quite natural in the pantheon of human emotions. They also don’t know the phony idea of diversity they’ve been fed only hides the true diversity of God-given myriad gifts and talents – endowments by our Creator. These are the passions driving all of us to serve and create as a gift to self and community. Their crowd demands they deposit their passions in the outlet of a sewer or on the dung heap of love unfounded. God’s love shows gays willing to hear their real and special talent for creating beauty is desperately needed for His honor and glory. Ask you favorite artist.

A first Century wise man wrote: “No test has been sent you that does not come to all men.” Besides, God keeps his promise. He will not let you be tested beyond your strength. Along with the test he will give you a way out so that you may be able to endure it.” Develop and share your gifts and don’t sacrifice them on the altar of debauchery!

  2. If they want to be left alone then stop telling everyone how they like to have sex and who with. If they want to be equal then stop demanding special rights and having sex with feces is certainly not valid enough that they force their view position , demand special rights and bully others into their way of thinking.

  3. To the Student Senate at UNM, I say, “Well done, and thank you.” To the Gay Mafia that was trying to shut down Chik-Fil-A, I say, “So you’re frightened by Chick-Fil-A? Why don’t the medical consequences of your lifestyle choice frighten you?” Gay men have been proven to have a life expectancy several years shorter than normal. Gay men and lesbians are more likely to become alcoholics and drug addicts, and be the victims of domestic violence. And they have high incidences of STDs and several other diseases, which I will not detail here. Chik-Fil-A executives have done nothing except exercise their constitutional right to freedom of speech. In light of the risks homosexuals routinely take with their bodies voluntarily, what is so frightening about that?

  4. The militant gays pulled the same thing on Carl Karcher, the founder of Carl’s Jr. He started from a hot dog cart at Huntington Beach, CA after WW II. A devout Catholic, he had the temerity make a public statement opposing the gay lifestyle.

Car’s Jr.’s were violently picketed and boycotted, his board turned against him and he ended up losing control of the company he founded. Today, you can see the outcome from the sleazy TV commercials from Carl’s Jr. today. You’ll understand what I’m talking about when I refer to the multistory outhouse with a pit of illicit debt and perversion.

  5. Nazis:
    1. Enforcing THOUGHT as a “hate crime”
    2. Being violent towards Jewish businesses
    3. Hateful towards Jewish beliefs

    Homosexual Activists:
    1. Enforcing THOUGHT as a “hate crime”
    2. Being violent towards Christian businesses
    3. Hateful towards Christian beliefs

These homosexuals sure remind me alot of the Nazis

  6. I think you have that spot on but also if you do not mind and that is to add to it.
Remember that the NAZIS also boycotted businesses , now lets look at what is going on today in America. Boycotting stores etc, even standing outside them like in CA for an ice cream store, or wanting names made public in FL if they had sign the amendment for marriage is between one man and one woman.
